2 Pink-footed Geese, Redwings, Fieldfares
Today was crisp and cool, and despite a good walk around there wasn't a great deal to show for it. However, a pair of Pink-footed Geese were on the water first thing; after a few minutes they took off, flew around a couple of circuits before heading off in the direction of Littleborough.
Writing this in the future, I don't recall seeing much else, but in the fields between Shaw Moss and Peanock Farm, a reasonable number of Redwings and smaller numbers of Fieldfare were feeding. Unfortunately by the time I got within range, the Fieldfares had moved on, but I spent some time watching and photographing the Redwings, hoping they'd come closer (which they didn't).
