c. 40 Fieldfare (over Smithy Bridge), Redwings, 3 Snipe

Yesterday morning (20th) was a complete washout; it rained heavily for the entire walk around the lake.  Just as I was leaving the house however, a party of around 40 or so Fieldfare flew over in the direction of the lake. Three Snipe were on the reserve.

Today, the weather was a little better, and still decent numbers of Redwings were on the move.  Once again 3 Snipe were visible from the hide, but distant, so I walked back up the path to photograph them from a little closer.
