Teal, Treecreeper, Song Thrush, Tree Sparrows and Bullfinches in garden
A quick walk around the lake this morning in relatively calm cool conditions, bright sunlight. Fairly quiet, though a Grey Wagtail was around the Rowing Club car park. A number of Teal were on the reserve. Close to the Sea Cadets Hut a Song Thrush fed on the path in front of me, pulling worms from the verge, and a Treecreeper flitted past and landed on a sycamore. Lapwings were on the Sea Cadet jetty, and a single Great Crested Grebe was in the bay by Bib Knowl wall.
The garden was quite busy, with lots of Goldfinch, the pair of Tree Sparrows, Greenfinches, and two male Bullfinch, the first I've had in the garden for some time.
