Goldcrest, Stonechats, Meadow Pipits

A Goldcrest in the big hedge was only the second one so far of the autumn, but there didn't seem to be much else around in this morning's sunshine.  However, as I reached the wall overlooking Bib Knowl, I could see a female/immature Stonechat on the fence; then two more appeared, and they flitted around from the fence to the grass and back.  A few Meadow Pipits were around the same area and a couple landed on the stone wall but were a little bit flighty.
